Lynx Aurora 8 Firmware help!

help... I'm in a pickle...

I was wondering if anyone in Melbourne is running a Lynx Aurora with an AES16 card or if anyone is just running an AES16 card that would be willing to help me update the firmware on my Aurora 8?

I have the Aurora 8 with a LT-FW [firewire] card and I cannot detect or update the device from Mac OS 10.4.11 as to do this I first require firmware version 13 or higher on the Aurora [to detect FW connection]. It appears to have version 12 [I know this by pressing power + trim from standby mode].

I am just looking to avoid sending the device off for the update!

From all the documentation on the Lynx website it would appear it would have to go back to the US for the the update. Does anyone think the Australian distributor might do the updates?
