Not sure if anyones seen this yet but mine arrived last week.

I've never been so excited to buy a 57 before. Such a simple idea executed so well.

There is a mic called a Sure SM56 that is an even better option. I have one and its great on snare or guitar cabs.
They featue on just about everything on Jhonny Cash's Fulsome prison live recordings recordings and Neil Young loves them on his guitar amps.
I'll post a pic later when i'v got time.....gotta set up a PA....

There is a pic of an SM56 on Neil Young's cabs in the last AT where they did the review on NY when he was in Oz..

actualy i'm not sure at all........:)
........... re being a better option. They are another option to the bent 57

.....and the Folsom prison recording, one of my favorite live recordings in my collection.
