Just wondering who are the current favourites for getting CDs "duplicated" and printed.

Not that it probably matters but the project will be for spoken word, not music.

Cheers

i also recommend mad cd's as they have a great attention to detail..

i was being a finicky @#$% with some of the text in our booklets, and they were very receptive and assuring.

Just make sure yóur design is in check!! before u go there.

There are only a few duplication plants in Oz and most advertising the service do so as "the middle man".
The plant i use is Regency Recorders. Great service and support for the lay out for the printing of disk and booklet etc.

Have always used MAD, but on the last one there was a smear on the title, and the spine was printed upside down. Not like them at all.

Another good one I've found is digidoo, with no minimum quantities.

Correct, very few replication plants... most are brokers.. though they can get you decent deals on packaging options, or even screenprinting for short run duplication.
Here we often deal with Implant or MultipliCD (aka Beyond Vinyl).
Keep in mind min qty (for replication as opposed to duplication on CD-R) is typically 500 with +/- 10% due to the manufacturing process (and charged accordingly).
