How I am just in the middle of testing this new compressor plug-in from PSP called OldTimer. ITs only US$59 at the moment and seems to fit the bill quite nicely.
Free demo for 14 days AU VST RTAS and I am in no way connected with it or profit from anything from it.
Cheers

I have a bunch of PSP plugs (thanks for the tip Jamil).
Really, really good stuff. Just watch the Neon EQ plug... serious latency in Tools LE.

The GUI looks a bit bland- not old school enough!

Ok here's the old school upgrade but you'll have to wait a year for the next upgrade that will give the option of the digits to be changed on the GUI faceplate to dots.

Can't imagine that's awfully cheap at all somehow, but if you're offering... maybe there's a market for modelled AWA? limiters?
