Neumann KK84 Capsule

Postby norm » Fri Sep 04, 2009 12:41 pm

I am after some Neumann KK84 capsules and was wondering if maybe some of the geffell models used the KK84 also? Whilst on the subject has anyone got any U67 parts or clunkers? Regards Norm

the newer geffels use the gold sputtered versions m94 i think
but most of them are swap and play nickel versions ( even better)

when you pull the geffels capsules apart guess what is hiding inside ( KK54 ) right up untill about 1980

shhh !

i sold somebody on the list a 67 capsule a few years ago , i dont know wether he used it ..?

who was it i cannot remeber .. did you use it ?

Thanks for that Rick. I have a complete 67 head but need the stuffing. I will now do some research on the older Geffel models. I picked up a clunker km86 the other day which has 2 good kk84 capsules, I could do with a few more however I dont think I will be that lucky again for a few years. Regards Norm
