Found this in my in box today....

..."Apart from extensive stick and brush recordings of a unique collection of drums and cymbals it also features mixer presets by producer Peter Hendersonand custom MIDI by drummer Chris Whitten.

The SDXâ„¢ gives everyone from top producers down, access to the cream of custom and vintage drums, built by craftsmen from the 1920's right up to the exceptional instrument makers of today, like Johnny Craviotto.

The Custom and Vintage SDXâ„¢ is played by Chris Whitten. The drummer on classic hits like 'What I Am' by Edie Brickelland, The New Bohemians and 'The Whole Of The Moon' by The Waterboys, Paul McCartney's 'Flowers In The Dirt' album."

Nice one.

cool. Heh I remember Chris giving me a CD of stuff he's played on at the first gear shootout. Put it in the player and my missus says "hmmmm great cover band", I thought yeah that guy really does sound like Paul McCartney, then I heard the stadium crowd and it dawned on that it was actually Paul McCartney. :) :)

Then proceeded to listen to the rest of the disk and my jaw dropped.

Anyway good stuff Chris!

Wow, very funny.
It reminds me of one of Paul's favourite anecdotes.
He was walking down some avenue in Manhattan, I think in the early 80s, and a guy walks straight up to him and announces excitedly "hey I know who you are".
Paul paused anticipating the usual flurry of questions and gushing praise from a hardcore Beatles fanatic.
So the guy continues.... "you're the guy who played Paul in Beatlemania!"

Back to me....
The video was shot in our very own Electric Avenue Studios, Sydney. Thanks Phil and thanks to those Turtlerockers who recommended various good locations for such a shoot.

I think I've done about three video interviews in my 30 year career.... and it shows. I also had no artistic veto on the video..... and it shows. "and stuff like that" aaaargh.
