My Blackberry is trying to lobotomise me....

What is it with Blackberry's? I use one for a couple of minutes and I feel like my head has been inside a microwave. It really hurts. Maybe they pump out more signal than other phones, and knowing now that cell phones cause significant eye damage among other things, I am going to drop this thing in a dumpster in a couple of months as soon as this contract runs out. Between cell damage from the phone, and financial damage from Optus and their dodgy network and business practices, it's just not worth it.

i am sick to fuckin death of trying to communicate on telephones that dont work , having to talk to robots that dont work and getting transferred to call centers that just can never work .
about 5 years ago mobile phones were getting somewhere , but its been all down hill for years now .
my damn iphone has every feature you could ever need except a telephone that works
as soon as i can find the damn spare v-46753jm tube that gets my wayback machine working properly i am going back in time to find the guy that convinced the guy that he could make a mobile telephone work and i am kidnapping him and bringing him to 2009 to show him the future ..
well... thirteen .....thats the best solution i have anyway :)

Sounds good to me, especially in the absence of a DeLorean.

recommend the SE W810i or similar - they do email, internet, music and a whole bunch of other stuff if you want it but most importantly it's a nice phone.

The thing (avm) I had removed from my brain was around the same spot my old nokia 2110 arial used be when I used it, which was very often. I hate mobile phones. Charlie Teo the Neurosurgeon did an interesting thing on Tv about how many brain tumors he is removing from roughly the same area, also the type of tumors, which used to be extremely rare before mobile phones. Acoustic neuromas are becoming alot more common also.
Stuff to think about for sure.

Hi there,
I look at the mobile every couple of days...if someone really needs me I suppose their number will come up more than once ;-)
Somehow we used to live with no mobiles and a 5 cent public phone...those were the days !
(People only needed to talk to you if it was actually urgent...although I had one of those huge phones in the mid 80's..
when nobody had one...so I'm no mobile luddite !)
cheers

My Nokia 5210 was a great phone - until it went to Africa in 2005!
Its so caked in crap I cant even open it without damaging the phone - still has our UK Simcard in it!!
Was a great phone - my first digital and it was without internet/WAP/picture txts/rubbish/etc..
A phone should just be a phone - I'm with you rick!
