Just finished reading the analogue/digital article, haven't had a chance to listen yet but I'd love to to hear a third mix. From Logic through the analogue gear back to HD. And see what pros and cons there are in that mix too? Just a thought not trying to open a can of worms re A vs D methods.

I thought Chris did a great job with the article. I've had a listen to the mixes through my Yamaha monitors at work. I thought it would be interesting doing an ITB / analogue desk hybrid mix. That way you could put the OH tracks through say an Avalon 747 with the 32k fader up to get a bit of the airy highs back in the mix etc.

I second that, great article just made me think which is why I dig AT so much, always getting new perspectives and learning.

Yeah I loved the article. Couldn't download to listen though. AT website a bit cooky me think. Well done Chris, it was a very detailed and informative explanation and also just another reason to show off that great console.

Now if only i could get my AWA modules up and running.........
