Hi everyone, I'm looking for a Sydney tech to service a Hammond and/or Leslie cabinet. The speaker makes a clicking noise once every 3 seconds or so. If anyone can point me in the right direction it'll be much appreciated!

Regards,
James

Hi There,
if you don't have any success with Stan a mate of mine in Melbourne who specialises in Hammonds and Leslies does go up to Sydney occasionally. If you need his contact details let me know.

Cheers Garry Lynch

Hi Garry,
Welcome to the forum,
Who is the guy you know? I'm in Melbourne and have an L100 which could do with a service.
Cheers.

I didn't know you had a Hammond L100, Mat..
It does ring a bell, now that I think about it, but organs have not really been my thing in the past..

Anyway, I just got one here, too - so once again, it seems like I really am following in your footsteps!

I just gave Geoff from Doppler Audio a call about maybe coming out some time and having a check over it for me, just to see if it could do with any tweaks or changes or general servicing.

Did you have any particular things done on yours?

Someone recommended perhaps looking at the line out and seeing if the signal could be improved for optimal external processing or output to rotating speaker cab etc.

I'm gonna try to optimise the L100 to match up with an old (British made) Sharma amp / rotating speaker cab that I have here (which emitted smoke last time I turned it on.. hmm)

Keen to hear any tips before having this stuff looked over.
CHEERs, y'all.
