(Alternative) Cable suppliers in (suburban) melbourne

I generally buy cable from factory sound and i've always been very happy with them in every way. trouble is they are on the wrong side of the city for me - which is fine if i plan ahead and go over there with a shopping list. but sometimes (like today) i need cable at short notice and i don't have time to make the 2-3 hour round trip.

does anyone in melbourne know of a supplier of decent cable (mogami, canare, klotz etc) in the northern or northeastern suburbs? or at least that quadrant of the the city. the stuff that jaycar and dse sell just makes me laugh.

alternatively, if anyone in melbourne has any used stuff to sell? need some unbalanced (but always in need of balanced as well).

many thanks!

Try these guys, but not sure if they do by the metre? But have bought in bulk from them before.

I can help with some used (as new) Klotz+Neutrik mic cables, xlr(m+f)>> trs, etc..or can make custom lengths if required. At the moment I have stock of Eurocable (beautiful, soft stuff) and Neutrik XLRs, TRSs and TSs, but can do any other cable brand as required.
Cheers

PS..northern burbs

Hi guys,

I'm looking for some cable to make up a 7 pin XLR tube mic PSU and audio type cable (for Avantone CK12 tube mic) missing original cable..

Apparently the Mogami W3172 is the biddness for this application.
(has some thicker wires for high voltage, and thinner for audio, I guess)..

Not sure Jaycar stock those 7 pin XLR connectors either, so hit me up if you have any bright ideas on that front.
I'm out Eastern suburbs Melbourne, near Ringwood / Mitcham.

thanks!
Ev

Audio oz has the mogami. (might have the 7 pins too)

Factory sound has the 7 pin neutrik which will be better priced than the not so good jaycar ones.
