Posted: Tue Jun 22, 2010 4:09 pmInstalled it this morning. Other than a few little system reconfigurations it all went smoothly. Multiple core support is awesome, it's like havin a new 'puter.
Still working through the new stuff, some I like some is a bit meh....video is super solid now, but only on Quicktime. H264 stuff goes like a bullet.
If you have a quad core and are using Cubase 5.1 jump on 5.5, it will freak you out. Just check your video card is compatible, it now uses opengl which may be a problem for
some older cards.
