Hi

Does anyone have a good source for online sound effects?
I'm doing a radio play here at the studio soon and although I have a small selection of sound efx I still need some sounds like battle noises, sword fights, punches/fighting, ocean and stormy weather.
We'll be making a bunch of sounds in the studio aswell but none of the above sounds.

The free sounds online are so crap I can't listen to another one.

quality varies quite a bit but reckon a quick search for ocean or storms will turn up something useful.

I reckon you might want to make your own foley for the fight scenes though - it's tremendous fun.

in my experience, doing your own foley is alot easier for complicated effects and such.

it is much easier to choreograph complex sound sequences, than edit them from existing sound effects!
