hi i'm new. i have red hair and an underlying urge to kill kill kill. hi.
now, enough fun...
i'd like to politely poll the TR congregation as to how you got where you are now career-wise. I guess i'm pointing this squarely at semi-pro to pro mix engineers - basically, if you regularly make more money then you spend!
three questions:
1) what formal training/study, if any, did you do in the early days and what that was worth to you in the long run?
2) how many years has it been since then?
3) if you were a ninja with a soldering iron and could wire up your honda civic with the flux capacitor you found on gumtree, what would be the one thing you would go back and tell your young & naive self?
your time starts now. goodluck!

oh geez 26 views but no takers - ok maybe it did read a little like a verbal/textual spasm but i really am genuinely curious. it's hard for a noob to get foots in doors.
certainly didn't intend any negativity towards a) formal training/study b) honda civics.

Hey kalkman,
1st step will be putting your full name in your signature.. That's the done thing around these parts.
Now in answer to your question, I don't know how I got to where I don't know where I am... if that makes sense? Wherever that is, there's not much money, and I always spend all of it but at least I can smell the flux all day long!
Ok I just read that paragraph and I think maybe this was one too many beers over dinner. Will report back when I am more capable.
