Crowded House tour

Only problem was that I'd left my 15dB fitted earplugs at home, and I'd forgotten just how *loud* a rock show can be. Actually the PA wasn't the real problem, it was the 40-something woman next to me screaming straight into my ear.
Next week for Leonard Cohen you can bet I'll have them in my bag, and next year for Iron Maiden (is that a double or what) I should go back to EMA and get some 30dB ones (oh, and while I'm at it a set of fitted full block plugs would be good)
If you get a chance (and as this was the opening show and it wasn't sold out you should still be able to get tickets) go. Good music, good sound, only one bad abuse of lighting (strobes in the first song aimed at the audience).
