perth band touring melbourne - best way 4 gear?

hi,

perth band milkless fridge are going to melbourne for the fringe festival.
(grand final weekend)

we've got 2 gigs booked and were wondering what the best thing to do about amps and drum kit would be.

does anyone know of shops who hire out drum kits and amps or should we pay to courier it over?

its our first time coming over east, and we dont have any friends in local melbourne bands to borrow gear from.

any ideas or suggestions would be great.
