I know this is a studio phorum, but there are alot of sydney based people that might be able to help me.
I am in that hell hole known as dubbo, and I am spending alot of time in the only studio in town and its marshall box has a green back that needs some love and I am wondering the people in sydney that might be able to help me.
question 2, I have a set of ns 10's, I am thinking that they are going to die soon so can they be reconed? or is there a new "industry standard" of monitors
any help would be greatly apreciated

hence my remark.... I seriously can't remember how many times "I grew up in Dubbo" has got me out of trouble.
Once, after just moving to Sydney to start University, I was pulled over for speeding on the Great Western Highway near St Mary's. The officer took one look at my licence (still listing my address as Dubbo) and said politely, "just slow down a bit in the city"....
Dubbo.... hah!!! :D

Re the NS10's, the only way I know to get the white cones is to look on evilbay (or the for sale part of this forum (hint hint)) for someone flogging spare parts. The alternative is to get someone like Speakerbits in Melbourne (www.speakerbits.com) onto it - I doubt it they have NS10 cones, but they'd likely be able to find something that does the job, and if you're handy with the Whiteout (R) ...
Mind you, there's heaps of more accurate monitors out there nowadays.
