Hi all,

Can anyone tell me of their experiences with an RME Fireface? I'm looking at the 800 version to replace my MOTU 828mk2. Just bought a 17 inch macbook pro and would like to take advantage of the FW800 port.

I've got one, I don't use the mic pres but the converters are good, best I think in that price range. The fw800 is mega fast, my latency is way low,a couple of ms maybe. Track down Melbourne Surround Sound, they have the best prices on RME I've come across.
