I would just like to take the time to once again congratulate Rode Microphones for their excelant customer service.

I recently returned my Rode Classic which I purchased aroung 6 years ago due to a crackly noise it was emitting.

It was promptly repaird in record time with new valve,capsule, lead and switch for free.

Also put it up with my U87 with new capsule to check out how it was sounding and was definitly up to scratch with this industry standard mic.

I must also say I definitly cannot give the same glowing review to a certain distributor who has occasionly touted his services on this forum.

My experience with Rode has been great too! I bought a pair of NT5's and was having some issues (probably due to moisture) and they were repaired, and eventually replaced with a brand new set for no cost... Also delivered to a shop close by for my convenience.

Ive had a similar experience. One of my NT5 capsules sustained some damage. They replaced both capsules (so as to ensure they were still a matched pair).

They were out of warranty. I paid $20 shipping, plus nothing, and was duly impressed with the service.
