help identifying this classical music piece

I've been trying (fruitlessly) to identify this classical music piece. I need it for my daughters dancing class so while this doesn't rate as an audio engineering question of interest, I'm hoping someone might be able to help. The mp3 on soundcloud was ripped from a home movie shot with a digital camera so its not the greatest quality but you can hear it well enough.
Any classical music buffs here?

Well we came up empty
Our best guess is late 19th century German - it just doesn't sound "oom-pah" enough for Sousa or the other Americans of the era.

I can't recognise it at all, and classical music (piano and orchestral) is what I was bought up with. I'm also guessing it's some late 19th, early 20th Century composition, but rather light on...it's certainly not from the late Romantic composers from that period.

If you have access to an iDevice - try running it through SHAZAM - my access to soundcloud is also blocked where I am.

It sounds like a Military march, especially as it repeats certain passages.
Could be European, could just as easily be British.
Obviously there are hundreds to choose from.
You'll probably need to consult a military music expert.

Yeah, I think you're right. Military march is the way to go probably, circus music too perhaps. I had hoped it might be an iconic piece seeing as it sounds fairly recognisable but maybe its only familiar sounding because it is fairly generic.
Shazam didn't work, yeah too much background noise probably.

Sounds American or perhaps British. 20th century.
Find the band leader of a local brass band or perhaps at a high school that has a brass band.
I'll ask a brass person I know.

Wow,
I finally found it. Its a very obscure piece of circus music that wouldn't even appear on the blip of classical music knowledge. Embossing The Emblem by Merle Evans and His Allstar Band. Very generic.
