2. if they are really big i want to see a 12 ax7 next to it for reference
3. if they are really small same
4. if its really stupidly rare tell us
5. if its stupidly expensive tell us
6. i get to post up the c3m series tubes which are the best audio preamps tubes ever made
and neither gunter nor rob nor alaistair had seen them before i show them one

Not one that I have,a bit rare for that, but this is where it all started.
The first triodes were known as an Audion, invented by Lee de Forest in 1906.
This example is a production model from 1911.

They're a bit of a cult tube sometimes used to drive 300b's in a 2 stage SET.

I have to build a pair of 300b mono's for a client and hadn't considered these, being pentodes - maybe I'll
check 'em out.
