Does anyone have comments on this mic after having used/played with one?
I've read lots of blurb on slutz etc - but I know that alot of cr@p gets posted there too.
Is it really as good as its made out to be?

Doesnt sound like anyone heres tried it Toad. Im kind of interested where this fits into the product range it's wierd that they call it a 49 and the marketing hints at a 47. Why not just call it a TLM47?

Anywhere you can get one to try yourself.
I know I tried a M147 and could not give it back fast enough he he Although I have mates who love theres.
That is the thing with gear everyone is different.
What are you after it for your own vocals or studio work?

The nearest place I can try one is about 8 hours drive away, so I don't have the luxury of "try before buy".
This will be for studio work.

Ive had one for a while, very happy with it.
