Passive monitor controllers & impedance

I bought a Goldpoint SA1X a while back as my monitor controller, but I've only recently become aware of the impedance issues that can arise with passive monitor controllers... so I'm keen to double check whether there's any issues in the way I've got things set up. Are there any impedance issues in the following signal chain:

Prism Orpheus (balanced output impedance = 100 ohms)

-> Goldpoint SA1X ("We usually put 10K stepped attenuators into our SA1X" - Goldpoint SA1X Level Control / Passive Preamp

-> Focal Solo6 BE (input impedance = 10 kOhms)

This kind of stuff is definitely not my forte, so if anyone could possibly chime in that'd be awesome :)

no issue there. The focals will be placing a modest load on the attenuators thus affecting their absolute accuracy but nothing to worry about.

i read this thread before but didnt take notice, until i was researching passive monitor options and someone on gearslutz was gassing on about these goldpoint stepped pots....

Wondering how much the price diff wouold be if you did this yourself? there's almost nothing to design from what i can see...and not sure why this costs 400-500$$!?!? :-(

I remember Simmo made his own passive monitor controller once. The pot alone cost $600!
