Info sought on 'Zama' loudspeakers
Posted: Tue May 08, 2012 3:35 pmI have a pair of bookshelf speakers here that I'm trying to find some info on. They are a pair of "Zama Reference 6.3" speakers, with "Made in Australia" written on them.
I'm keen to find out who made them, as I'm after some more info on them. Maybe someone here on TRock might know something?
They have a warm and pleasant midrange, but the upper frequencies roll off quite steeply, losing a lot of 'sparkle'. I'm not using them for monitors, just a hifi setup. But I'm considering modifying them (new tweeters?) to get a bit more top end. Because I quite like them.
