I am curious to know how i could arrange a couple of days of 'observation' in a studio?
I teach art and media for a day job, however my interest in recording and mixing is growing stronger by the day.
I have built up a collection of gear over the last 10 years have recorded numerous projects for my own band and for several others. I am now at a point where i have project studio called Roseneath Recording Studio and am recording bands quite regulary
Unfortunately i am not in a position to undertake any extended formal study. Instead, what I'd really love is to sit in on a session or two with a 'professional' to gain as much insight as possible into the recording / mixing process and to take my understanding to the next level.
So.... is there anyone out there that would be willing to have me drop by and sit in on recording /mixing session.
Oh i live in western vic so would need to be in Melb.
