I just bought a 1kg Solid Silver Bar.
I thought it would be a bit bigger then this. Just a bit bigger then a credit card and about 2cm thick.
Are these crazy times?

My questions to settle the question of your sanity
Are as follows

Did it cost more then $1200 ?
Why isn't yours a smooth cast ( it's a roughy )
Are you sure it's silver not solder ?
And an oldy but a goody

What does it sound like on a snare ?

Hey, you can make some of those high-end solid silver interconnects the audiophiles rave about!

...or just buy four more bars and then you can trade them for some speaker cables.

Vintage is better.

I don't think solid silver weighs any more than it used to, so if these are crazy times on account of the smallish size of your 1kg ingot, I'd guess they're no crazier than any other times when the atomic mass of Ag was 107.8682 g/mol.

Spot is about $1060 per kilo at the moment.

So Dale..... do you think the world economy is about to hit the wall so it's time to put your savings into bullion?

It would be great if you could copy and paste that "bar".

Is it all discreet silver.

Don't any of you guys watch "Doomsday Preppers"? When the global financial armageddon hits you won't be able to eat silver. The only things gonna save you are guns and toilet paper.

What is the definition of Solid or Pure for this kind of investment, who authenticates the silver bar.
there is a reason gold costs less on holidays, its not quite as pure at those corner gold stores..

Wow, and i haven't seen that 'Triad Triangle' logo stamp since i took a wrong turn in Thailand and ended up in
