So I have a client who proudly delivered a dance / pop
Album to me to master last week with specific needs to
Sound good next to sneaky sound system bagraiders 360 etc
Nothing wrong with the music or the mixes
Except he proudly annouced he hadn't used any limiters
Or compressors .. Thought he would leave that to me
So we have a dance record with a dynamic range
Of 40 db when it needs to be 4 db
Who lives up there and wants to mix an album
With a client leaning over his shoulder saying
Oh .. Now I understand .. Yes limiters !
Oh I see automatation !
Nothing wrong with the music .. On the surface it
Sounds like his ref tracks .. Just 40 db quieter
So it's ready to happen now
Christmas money anybody ?

Re: Gold Coast - dance/ pop album
what deadline is there for this?
i could travel over and help him using his own set up...or plugin with my laptop and just monitor off his speakers, etc etc.
