Dynaudio BM5A II's?

Hey Forum,

Walked into the office last night to discover that one my KRK rockit's in my edit suite has decided to only output hum - even with nothing plugged in.

Need to replace it with something cheap-ish (around $1000) looking for suggestions.

Please note, this is not an audio mix room - we have a dedicated suite with Opals - but occasionally I need to do a quick submix or polish, but for major mixes, we go to the other suite.

I'm thinking Dynaudio BM5a II's - Turra has them on special a.t.m. unless someone else has a dramatic reason too / not too.

And yes, the room is treated.

Smash.

There's a pair of bm5 mk1 in a small untreated room at my day gig. Have been ok for editing, rough mixes, quick fixes etc in combo with hp's.
Note i have used bm6p's for 10+ years, and much prefer the 6's.
