Does anyone have a line on aluminium tubing and pipe clamps? I need to make some keyboard stands from similar material to the old aluminium pipe "A frame" stands but they need to be custom sized so I will need to cut the tubing myself and build it with appropriate clamps.

i dont know what havving a line means, but,

If you want a more local alternative, we have "metaland" in sydney, whtich i dont think do aluminium, but have metal products u can browse.

failing both of those, you can just search "extruded Aluminium australia" and u should get something.

do you know what clamps you'll be using? that will help on deciding what widths of metal u'll need.

They've got a fairly extensive range of extrusions and very reasonably priced especially if you buy a full length which is usually 6 - 6.5 metres and I don't think they charge for cutting.

Also, just remembered I have a few (8 I think) of the shelve supports that are used on the old A-frame stands that I got in a deal, probably won't end up using them now if you're interested. Like these only flatter;
