Heading to Japan in a couple of weeks – anyone have tips for cool stuff (esp gear shopping) to check out while there?

lots of tips... but not much gear shopping! (though they do always seem to have a lot of midas consoles going cheap for some reason)
drop me a line if you would like some more touristy tips - i love the place!

Mostly guitar/instrument related, but here's a few things if you're visiting Tokyo:

Jinbōchō - a district/suburb, has an amazing street of instrument shops, including some incredible vintage guitars (with incredible prices to match).

Musicland Key (http://wikimapia.org/13095912/Music-Land-KEY-Shibuya) - all new stuff, 5 floors of browsing including a hi-tech/recording floor.

Walkin Guitars (http://www.walkin.co.jp/) - beautiful guitars, including really well presented second handers, generally good prices. Really nice guy who runs it, but impossible to find it!

And if you need a great breakfast, or any other meal, Bills (Bill Granger), has cafes in Tokyo and Yokohama:

have fun!

Thanks all - I lost track of time, heading off tomorrow. Completely without plans, should be an interesting trip.
