In the process of gathering information for a long overdue construction project and stumbled on this. It is a lecture given to AES Melbourne last November by studio designer Peter Brown. There is slideshow available to download and also an audio file of the meeting. Hope this is fine to post here.

having known Peter for some years and used him extensively for studio design work for 2UE and 3AW (and heaps of other smaller stuff) I thought I'll take a look and listen.
I thought gee that looks familiar and It would. That's my facility with various generations of the design process and my pictures I reeled off for Peter.

Seriously have a look and a listen.
Peter is probably the best Architect I know for Studios and Acoustic spaces and apart from that a thoroughly good bloke.
I hope he hasn't retired when I need to do my next station design and build.
