Logic - exporting regions?

Hey all,

tracked a band a couple of weeks ago in Logic and now trying to export the regions and import them into PT 9 for editing and mixing. Is there an easier way than this for exporting individual regions?

Image

Like PT & Nuendo you can normally highlight multiple regions and export them via individual channels as a separate file but it seems whenever i batch highlight in Logic it only does 1 at a time? I know you can make new 'takes' and then export whole track but that seems like too much work for me...
I'm trying to like Logic but it doesn't really seem that intuitive to me!

btw this is logic pro

cheers

No need to select any regions - just File/Export/All tracks as audio files.

That's what I do to. Works fine.

Thought id mention this. If you have any cutting/pasting of individual tracks in one song then its a good idea to merge those tracks.

that will give you each track as a complete audio file.

is that what you are after... if not give me a better idea of what you want and I will try to help you out.

yeah it's easy.

file -> export -> all tracks as audio files.

if i've got a bunch of 'songs' within a single project (ie you want to export 16 regions but not the whole 10 or so songs) I drag the 'end of song' marker at the top to the end of the first song, export all tracks, then delete that song, move the new song back and re-export.

unfortunately we do this all the time, thankfully logic to pootools is easier than the other way around.
