No, but they get rave reviews by everyone on the gearslutz forum. They are supposedly as good as the new Apogee Rosetta (200 & 800) line which I own both of, so if they are near as good they will be extremely good. I was tossing up between the 2, I only went for the Apogee as I know them and like them. I have heard comparison a/b tests between the 2 (apogee and lynx) and there is a slight difference in sound but very minimal, I don't think there was any difference in quality.

I been looking at these too, I think the reviews tip it to be better than a Rosetta 200. It's the price thats amazing!

Yeah but unless you use the firewire option card I think the aes 32 card is the only way to interface without having to purchase an adat card for the unit. Either way great unit, The Apogees have aes and adat standard. The Rosetta 200 also has src which has come in handy, it does it well too.

I have a Lynx Aurora 8 which i'm very very pleased with.. I don't have much experience with high end converters but it's clearly a vast step ahead of the converters in a Digi 002R.

I had a psx100se though it died after 3 months use, I went out and got the rosetta 200 with firewire after that and could'nt be happier, I was looking into the Lynx and may yet still get one if I get a Neve 8816 summing mixer, 16 channels for the price of the Lynx is hard to beat. Hey Mark are you using firewire or aes? Just wondering how stable the drivers are like if you've got the firewire option?

We use an Aurora 8 for critical classical music recording. It is a wonderful sounding box with great ergonomics. Top stuff.
