Waves WLM vs "Real" Loudness scopes.

FYI for anyone who does any broadcast work...

As an experiment today we compared the LKFS reading from the Waves WLM plugin ($250) to the reading from our Tektronix WVR7200 ($20,000)

Provided that you run the waves as a "Multichannel" plug in, as opposed to a "Multi-Mono" plug-in, the results correlate to within 0.1 dB for Infinite Loudness, & 0.0 dB for True Peak

Momentary Loudness is a little different, as the WVR7200 uses a longer sample time than the Waves, (I'm sure you could tweak this in the settings) but essentially, you could definitely get away with using the Waves...
