Anyone off to Tamworth Festival in Jan?

OK, so I generally do not like country music and I have never been to Tamworth before, but it looks like I will be going there for the Country Music Festival in January (I produced an album of bush poetry that's been nominated for Album of The Year and Single of The Year). No Golden Guitars on offer, but apparently a Golden Gumleaf lol.... seriously. Does anyone here go to this thing each year? Let me know if so. Would be great to meet a TRocker there for a drink or two, or just to get any advice about what's worth seeing/missing etc.

Country music?
Congrats on the nomination! Members of my family are huge country fans and love Tamworth Country Music festival.

I will be there doing FOH for Telstra Road to Discovery finalist showcase at the Town Hall on the 22nd.

I'm at the Town Hall on the 21st Simon but have to be back on the road home on the 22nd. If you're up for a drink or two on the 21st let me know via PM!

At this stage I will be flying in the day of the gig and then out straight away and heading to NAMM. Completely possible I may be there earlier in the week if Telstra need us to do more than just this.
