Postby gigpiglet » Tue Apr 22, 2014 6:36 pm

anyone seen this error in an HD system?
doesn't seem to show up much on the google…

i have a couple of cards that a doing it.
with moving cards between computers etc

I'm hoping i havnt damaged a card (or two) but can't see how i would have…

firmware issue between comps and cards maybe???
but seems weird.

any insight would be helpful

Hey Gareth,

Have you ran digitest to see what it says? Perhaps try it a few times and see if any kind of consistent error comes up.

One of the cards may have died.
It will at least help you identify if one is faulty.
There is a button in the digitest app called "identify" or something like that. It will flash a small LED on the card so you can tell which is which.

Flex cable would be another thing to check as well.

Check the end of the card where there's usually a label, and see if R35 is still on the board it's right at the edge, also check the 3 resistors above R35. They can scrape against the slot when installing the card and get knocked off, which will give that error.
Bad design.
