Interesting article in AudioTech Rick, all I can say is goooooodby mp3, oh yeah that felt good, bring on high definition audio.

Just to add to the article you wrote, I was reading on a big American forum recently that soon (maybe) all major record companies will be giving music away for free providing you watch a 30 second advert. Then to keep the song you have to re watch the advert every month or so. Hmmmm 10000 free songs thats 300000 seconds.

I don't know whether this will happen or become the norm but it is an interesting time for the music industry. Maybe it will generate extra cash for artists and companies. Maybe we will all have to start writing ditties for consumer items.

Now who knows where to get a crystal ball.

I don't mind the odd mp3 but my workplace plays mp3's all day long over the p.a. which is a little draining. I've found a spot which is the quietest section (now my desk) in the whole place at which the level becomes barely hearble. Makes it easier to concentrate on working.

Now if only I could turn off everyone's ring tones...or at least mod them to lower amplifier/speaker/recording distortion's but then they wouldn't be mobile anymore?
