Hi guys.

Has anyone heard of or used Bardl gear before? They're a cheap chinese brand with only one distributor in the country. Thought it might be good to try out the mics.

Their website's at: bardl.com.au

Ok, this msg is old but here goes...

I bought the DSF-8P- Drum Kit Series (8 microphones, accessories, aluminium flight case) on ebay, direct from them.

Turnaround was instant, well packaged, etc

The condensors are pencil types. I hated them.. They are probably ok for something, but definately not over-heads. I gave up on them.

The rest of the mics all perform well. They are nice and dry sounding for close-up rock drums. I am surprised to not have any phase problems in the spill overs. They gave me a solid Vanda/young drum sound. I wouldnt use them on jazz or classical. I would compare the dynamic mics to shure equivalents.
