G'day Gang,

Firstly, I'll warn this is going to read like a bit of an advertorial but I did run it by Rick first and he's given me the green light.

Just wanted to make people aware of the custom audio gear I build and say I've got a quiet month coming up at the studio so now is a great time to chat if you want to look in to having something built. I'm up for anything. Summing mixers, monitor controllers, pres, compressors... you name it. There's some photos below of a few recently completed projects.

Very tidy looking gear there Nick, love the big ol VUs on that dual pre.
Where do you get your screen printing done for the rack units? & do they laser cut the stuff out too?

Cheers

Cheers, Dave.

My panels actually aren't screen printed, they're laser engraved. Any trophy shop with a small engraving machine should be able to do it. You need to use anodised aluminium panels as the process just removes the black layer. The place I use is called IPPL and they're in Lidcombe.

They don't do the cutting however, I do all the drilling myself on a bench drill press with stepped bits, hole saws and punches.

NF.

G'day Richard,

Sometimes I'll use a pre-existing PCB if that suits the clients needs, otherwise, my own design.

NF.

Good stuff Nick, very tidy.

I like those little monitor controllers.

Go Nick!
Your gear looks great, really nice designs (and I'm sure the sound is awesome too.)
