Any video people out there?
I just rendered a video from Sony Vegas with an audio mix I imported.
Everything worked fine but when I played back the MP4 video, all the bottom end has been sucked out of the audio.
Is this normal? Do I have to do another mix and boost the bass to compensate?
Or is there a render setting I should tweek?

ive not used vegas
but have used plenty of others
there are LOADS of sneaky menus
one thing i found lots of programs (avid MC and FCP for instance) tend to do by "default" is mono things up..

you really need to go through all the menus and check
you shouldnt need to do a "compensate" mix. there will be something in there somewhere thats converting your file to something else...

Has it rendered a 5.1 mix, with an LFE channel?

No, just stereo.
Because the video was shot on my iPhone, the video qua;ity is not that great, but the audio is more important.
I have rendered to the video standard for audio 48k 16bit.
I mastered the track level to -.02dB but the rendered video comes back with a lower audio level and reduced bass.

Just because you shot the video and audio in stereo doesnt mean the rendering ended up like that.
