My new animatronic puppet...
Regular T-rockers will note I have been relatively absent for the last few months. I've been sidetracked on a TV project which is looking like it might get some traction.
The premise is a "Wiggles" type show for children of immigrants, conducted entirely in the native language. Culturally the show is a blend of western and heritage elements.
Anyway a good mate of mine (who is ex-Disney) named Dwayne Labbe designed our puppet characters, including our parrot "Lip Lip". A lecturer at AIE (Academy of Interactive Entertainment) named Oliver Cook modelled him in 3D and he was then built by Axtell Inc in California.
Any while he's not audio-related, he is sufficiently tech-geeky to be worth sharing. He is speaking Turkish if you are wondering.
