Has anyone here heard the softube console 1 product in the flesh who can comment on it?

Wow... no one? Does anyone think it's worth the price tag of $1649-$1399. Would you buy this product yes or no?

I've been very intrigued by it since they announced it, if my circumstances hadn't changed dramatically recently then I would almost certainly have bought one. The arse falling out of the dollar didn't help either!

Wasn't someone selling one on this forum recently?

It sounds good however having too many parameter choices takes it away from the feel of the SSL. My biggest frustration was that the plugin GUI is so tiny that without the controller attached to the computer it is almost unusable.Working away from your main rig would be a total bitch.
