waves tune and PT11

anyone using waves tune with PT11?
after upgrading (and of course upgrading waves to the new/ current version that supports AAX and PT11.3)
clean installs of OS, PT, and WAVES.
everything seems great except for wavestune/ rewire syncing/ following etc
keep getting errors about out of session limit, cant reset timeline, scans, then doesnt etc etc
have been doing the usual googling but not getting far.
anyone been through this?
