Has anyone had experience with this unit? If so what was your impression.

sure have.
i cant say i love them.
they work..... but i would always prefer drawmer or BSS

they have no "range" selection which i find really irritating. i like to only gate say 15 or 20 db. not a huge fully closed 80db or something.
which leads me to:
i like fast gating, and i remember these being prone to some clicking at fast settings.
fast settings, and big (fixed) range = clicks


i cant exactly remember remember - but im not sure about the side chain either.

but hey.
they are a gate.
they do just that.
and they arnt horrible.
im just fussy.

I have Drawmer gates and a quad BSS compressor that i would probably let go.
They came from a live rig.
