Noise Asesement Required

Postby Chris H » Fri Apr 12, 2013 1:02 pm

I have been asked to obtain a noise assessment for a local venue.
With some research I can do the assessment with measurement mics and
software plotting graphs. I deally though I would prefer someone with more experience
with assessments to do the job. Seeking advice or contacts

hi chris.
i can do it
and have the gear/ qualifications
ive written plenty of noise plans...

BUT you are in tassie right?

that makes it hard (though i am there in about 6 weeks)

i am happy to "consult" and send you a noise plan that i have done, which you could then measure and fill in the numbers at the appropriate place if you had the gear to do it?

who has ordered the plan? council (who have very specific requirements) or an individual?
always good to know what the outcome you are actually looking for is before you start..

If its to satisfy an Employers' OHS requirement for Employees' working conditions you need to have specific testing done to certain standards at different weightings and distances etc. If you need help in getting this info I can dig some of it up if this is what you have been contracted to do.
Cheers
