Haha yeah i am amazed at the fuss i created. to be honest i think it would be foolish to part with any of them just yet, i might investigate into what Tim S did with his ones and make a matched quad if its not prohibitively expensive.

I checked that link you sent Nath, cheers man, im bidding but i don't know what i'll do with that many connectors if i win.

I'm just wondering if it is practical or even possible to have them re-configured to have an xlr output termination?

seriously, dont bother. When you have the converter cable you'll be fine, the tuchels have a locking screw ring so there'll be no issues with the converter cable falling out or slightly disconnecting.
