for me stuff like the eventide's and big lexicons are part of my psyche, imprinted after growing up with those sounds on years of vangellis, lanios/eno and so on. sounds right to me, probably dated to most others.

I cannot remember when they actually did !

so I reckon tweek the noises till you smile
it doesnt matter much if the noises are current, obsolete or futuristic

still i did run ebay over for h3000 this week ..

I can wait till next year
