WTB guitar case stickers

Postby chris p » Wed Jul 25, 2012 4:17 pm

This one is more for you music store owners out there ....

I'm after promotional stickers to slap on a guitar case to make the rest of the band jealous -

Planet Waves
D'Addario (esp. MXL)
Seymour Duncan
Lace Music Products

I do actually have stuff on the guitar from each of these, so its not quite as stupid or wannabe as it sounds, and no I don't have endorsement from any of them (but I am open to offers .....)

I know you can get these from the USA, but the asking postage is just bizarre (esp. when you consider you are volunteering to advertise for them).

Ha ha ha - you guys make me laugh.

No, its for the case, not the instrument. I'm an old guy now, and I need to be reminded what brand of strings I get. You can't drink this much Scotch and expect to remember shit like that!

Rob, I would be truly honoured to have your sticker on my case, and no that's not a euphemism for anything I can think of. And of course, Rick, if you have a spare Turtlerock sticker .... PO Box 700 Cherrybrook 2126. Send 'em in!

Hey Jamil, I was listening to your album just yesterday. Still love it. Have avoided so far putting big white apple shaped sticker over it, of which by the way I have a couple of dozen. Somewhere. Perhaps underneath the Scotch ....

Not a criticism - but man, this has to be the weirdest wanted ad I've seen in a long time :-?

I must admit I went through a phase of getting airline stickers on my acoustic guitar's flight case, so much so that I began choosing weird airlines just to get the sticker. I think it was when I flew in a rickety DC9 owned by Air Botswana I realised that I had lost the plot.

I've been meaning to ask Jamil what his album is called for about 6 months now... so... what's it called? People say very very good things about it, I want to buy it.

And, err, I don't have any stickers, sorry. Except for the NI "Damage" sticker on my Korg MS2000 to remind myself that the bottom 8 keys don't work. I tend to remember what strings I use on my guitars, though.

Stickers on a guitar case can be very useful in distinguishing your case from the hundreds of others in the musician's lock-up at a festival.
