I sent this out about a year ago someone replied but it went nowhere.
Need to get ride of this in the next 2 weeks.


We don't use or have tape machines any more, so these are going to the land of high bias.
Three Half inch MRL alignment tapes, two reels are 7.5 ips, and one 15 ips all IEC 320nWb/m,
have been stored in dry airconditioned space all their life.
Plus some empty metal Ampex 1/4" spools. 2 x 10",1 x 12' and 1x 14".
I just can't throw them away.

I would prefer to keep it all together as one pile and local pickup is preferable.

Please don't throw them out. I'd come and get them myself but it's a long walk from Adelaide...........

Alastair Reynolds is now the lucky owner of the MRL test tapes.
A bottle of Shiraz and schematics to some heavy old junk got him over the line.
