Not for sale - Gretsch double kit

<edit> After some discussions and some disturbing research I have learned that Lauan (Shorea species) is becoming seriously endangered - a fact I was unaware of when I purchased these drums a few years ago. I have decided to take this kit off the market whilst I soul search a bit more about how it should be respected.

I have for sale my beautiful Gretsch Catalina Mahogany Double Kit in Walnut finish - immaculate and never gigged or played by anyone but me - looking for $2200.

These kits are made from a timber called Lauan - sometimes called Phillipine Mahogany. The sound is warm and mellow - very much like mahogany.

This kit includes:
24" and 18" Bass drums
10", 12" and 13" rack toms
14", 16" and 18" floor toms
14 x6.5" snare 10 lug
14 x 5" snare 8 lug
2 x Gibraltar hardware sets (2 BD pedals, 2 HH stands, 2 snare stands. 2 straight cymbal stands, 2 boom stands)
All Evans Genera top skins on toms (all near new)
All Evans clear resonant skins (as new)
Original Gretsch front skins on BDs (white as new w/ Gretsch logo as new)
Original Gretsch batter skins on BDs (clear - never used)
Including an internal dual zone trigger in the 14x5 snare

fyi I hassled Gretsch to custom import this kit for me as they weren't bringing the walnut finish into Oz - it took a year for it to be delivered..... (I have used this kit as an electronic kit since new, fitted with triggers and mesh skins being sold separately) - thus the original skins are all like new - I will miss these Gretschies

I have a catalina snare, it sounds awesome, and you can get so many different tones by just changing then tension on the snare wires. Everyone that uses it comments on it.

What are you going to use in its place?

I also have a custom made stave double kit of New Guinea Rosewood w/ diecast rims - all in square config (22x22 etc) - it's one of a kind and sounds like nothing else on earth ;-) For electronics I'll borrow my mrs TD-9 kit with my TD-20x module.

With my unusual taste in music and drumming style it's not likely I'll be getting many calls to perform.... so having the Gretsch too is a bit self-indulgent (ha, he says!, self-indulgent is my middle name)......
