RE: studio computer swap?

Hello all,

It looks like I'm going to be heading overseas for a while and am starting to think about a computer sea-change... I thought I would check in with the lovely folk here on the off-chance that we could do a computer trade (or partial trade)...

I am based in Canberra at the moment but could meet someone in Sydney or around quite easily to test the computers.

In effect, currently I have 2 computers in the studio:

1) A late 2012 i7 Mac Mini, 8gig RAM, 1 x 256SSD + 1 x 1tb 7200rpm drive. This computer is in immaculate condition and as you would all be aware, a great little studio computer

2) An Early 2011 i7 MBP, 8gig RAM, 1 x 120gig SSD + 1 x 500gig 7200rpm drive. Great working condition. A few scratches on the body, but nothing major.

Since I am going to be on the road I am considering replacing both of these with a 2014 i7 15" MBP maxed out with RAM and HD (ie. 16gig ram, 1tb SSD)

Any chance (I know it's a long shot!) that anyone has a 2014 model MBP and is looking for a swap along these lines???
